- Phenthoate is an
organophosphorus pesticide of moderate toxicity.
- Phenthoate is a
broad spectrum, non-cumulative, organophosphorus pesticide; a
cholinesterase inhibitor with contact and stomach action; moderately
toxic to mammals with no residual activity.

is a colourless crystalline solid; the technical product is a
reddish-yellow, oily liquid. Both have an aromatic odour.
