weeks. It is mobile in soil
- Isoproturon is of low
acute toxicity and low to moderate toxicity following short and long
term exposures.
Process
- The important types
of unit process (chemical reactions) are: Alkylation, Carboxylation,
Acetylation Condensation, Cyclization, Dehydration, Halogenation,
Oxidation, Sulfonation, Nitration, Amination.
- The important types
of unit operations (physical) are: Liquid / Liquid extraction,
Liquid / Liquid separation, Liquid / Solid separation, Gas / Solid
separation, Distillation, Crystallization, Gas obsorption, Drying,
Grinding, Mixing
Report
- In India’s , the
development of Phalaris resistance was the result of overuse of
one herbicide, isoproturon, over a 15-year period.
- According to
Ciba-Geigy, a minor producer of isoproturon in the UK, the total
UK market is worth about £25m ($40m).
